"This program and the time I spent on me has truly changed my life"
A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO SOLVING YOUR LEADERSHIP CHALLENGES
This is not the typical executive development program filled with the typical slide-decks and binders in the typical conference room. There are no slide-decks, binders, or conference rooms.
It is also not the typical corporate excursion with the facade of real work. It is an exclusive and targeted roll-up-the-sleeves workshop experience focused solely on maximizing your impact as a senior leader or leadership team and solving your most pressing challenge. Provocative questions and dialogue, deep insights, best practices and tools, and the expertise of peers and executive coaches converge to accelerate practical problem solving and breakthrough solutions.
Past participants say that it offers "rare time and space" to dig deep, reflect, and develop a game plan that can be put into action immediately. All of this while tapping into the unique attributes of fly fishing as a means to bringing unparalleled clarity and focus to your challenge.
This is The Compleat Leader experience.
A SMALL GROUP OF SENIOR LEADERS COMMITTED TO MAXIMIZING PERSONAL IMPACT
The Compleat Leader provides a unique opportunity to spend focused time with a small group of peers who walk in similar shoes, face significant challenges, and understand the impact of their decisions and actions.
Participation in this exclusive program is limited to no more than 12 senior leaders - from different organizations or as an intact team - to ensure clear context, open and rich dialogue, targeted coaching, and collaborative learning. You will achieve a level of personal insight, clarity, and ability that is simply not possible in a typical conference room, classroom, or "back at the office."
THE PERFECT ENVIRONMENT FOR TACKLING YOUR CHALLENGE
The Compleat Leader experience takes place away from distractions, surrounded by spectacular scenery in the heart of the world-renowned Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Under the supportive care of world-class leadership coaches and expert fly fishing guides, you will apply a targeted suite of leadership performance tools with the unique attributes of fly fishing to tackle your challenge.
Neuroscience research shows a clear link between fly fishing and the ability to tap into a “relaxation response” that is essential to focus and thriving in stressful situations. By shifting between individually-focused activities and group work, you will enhance your capacity to achieve heightened clarity and impact. Away from the stress and distractions of the office, you will learn to relax, reflect, think, and craft a purposeful plan for solving your specific challenges and opportunities.
THE HENRY'S FORK LODGE
The Compleat Leader takes place at the Henry's Fork Lodge, one of the world's most acclaimed fly fishing venues. Casual elegance meets world class accommodations and a staff with the expertise to ensure a first-rate experience.
This architectural masterpiece has received numerous accolades, such as mention in the New York Times bestseller "1000 Places to See Before You Die" and inclusion in numerous listings of Top Fishing Lodges in America by Field & Stream and others.

"HAVING EXPERIENCED MANY LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS IN MY CAREER, THE COMPLEAT LEADER IS TRULY INNOVATIVE, GROUNDING THE INTERSECTION OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTIVE MINDFULNESS. THE BACKDROP TO THIS EXPERIENCE IS A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT THAT PROVIDES PERSPECTIVE THAT SIMPLY CANNOT BE GAINED IN A TRADITIONAL LEARNING CONTEXT. THE PROGRAM WAS AN EXPERIENCE I WILL NEVER FORGET, PROVIDING ME WHAT WAS PREVIOUSLY UNATTAINABLE CLARITY IN A MOMENT WHEN I NEEDED IT MOST IN MY CAREER AND LIFE"

“THE CRAFT OF FLY-FISHING IS UNIQUELY SUITED TO BRING ONE INTO A NATURAL STATE OF RELAXED SELF-OBSERVATION, HELPING TO CULTIVATE SELF-AWARENESS AND PRESENCE. THE DAILY IN-DEPTH DIALOGUE AND REFLECTIONS WITH OTHER SENIOR LEADERS FURTHER DEEPENED MY SELF-AWARENESS TO NEW LEVELS OF INSIGHT. LINKAGES BETWEEN FLY FISHING AND LEADERSHIP BECAME MORE EXPLICIT AND COMPELLING. LEARNING UNFOLDED NATURALLY WITH A COMMUNITY OF SUPPORTIVE LEADERS WITH WHOM I SHARED SO MANY COMMON EXPERIENCES"

WHY "COMPLEAT"
In 1653, Izaak Walton published The Compleat Angler, which has become the mostly widely reprinted book in the English language after the Holy Bible and Pilgrim’s Progress. While this timeless work may appear on the surface to merely provide stories and tips about fishing, a closer look reveals deeper insights about the virtues of connecting to the world around us, and the contentment found in giving oneself entirely to a focused pursuit that simultaneously provides an intensely relaxed and contemplative state. From that place, our ability to pursue our goals with purpose and clarity is increased, as is our likelihood of success. While originally simply an archaic spelling, as a result of Walton’s book, “compleat” has commonly come to refer to “someone who has all the skills and qualities of a particular craft.”
We can think of no better way to describe a leader who has achieved their full capacity to perform.
